1970s French Modern Brutalist Dining Chairs After Pierre Chapo

Pair architectural vernacular dining chairs from the 1970s European studio craft movement, styled in the manner of Pierre Chapo. Crafted from a beautifully patinated, dense solid wood with a rich grain. Splayed flat-plank legs, tapered V-cut negative space stretching through the backrest meeting the structural cubic block base. Nice sculptural presence. Comes with custom seat cushions. These two chairs are the larger sized captain chairs, part of a set of 10, the other set of 8 is available for purchase separately. Made in USA.
