1940s Vintage Alvar Aalto Bentwood Coffee Table

Vintage Alvar Aalto for Artek coffee or occasional table, circa 1940s. Stained birch table top with iconic bent L-leg design. Table top shows nice aged patina with exposed joint work along the edge. Nice dimensions for coffee table or occasional side table usage. Good vintage condition. Unmarked. Made in Sweden.

Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Appears to have had some previous resto work done underneath table top at the joints. Retains original hardware. Legs show stains and wear, but are sturdy. Table top shows wear/flaking finish, could be refinished or keep the aged patina.
